She has spent her career taking care of the people in her community – first, as an ICU nurse and then as a life insurance agent. Born and raised in the Philippines, Lutche graduated from San Pedro College of Nursing in Davao City. Her healthcare career has spanned from being a clinical instructor of nursing at a university to being a nurse at Metropolitan Hospital in New York, and finally a nurse liaison for Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas / Ft. Worth for nearly 14 years.
She began her career in financial services in the mid 1980s, when she Joined John Hancock as a Life Insurance Agent in New York. It was during that time at a John Hancock convention in Boston that she met her business and life partner, Leland Landes, and they were married in 1987.
Lutche joined the Legacy Group in 2004 and focuses her talent on the full scope of the business from sales and marketing to underwriting and client relationship building.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her traveling, reading, gardening, spending time with her family and working to raise breast cancer awareness.
Lutche and Leland have lived in Mission, Texas since 2005. They enjoy retreating to their farm in Iowa and visiting their two grown children: Derek in Iowa and Lauren in San Antonio, Texas.
Lutche is licensed to sell insurance in Texas. Lutche is independent of Equity Services, Inc. (ESI).
